32-TRACK DIGITAL RECORDING:

CWAV can record up to 32 individual tracks of instrumentation or vocals.

16-TRACK SIMULTANEOUS:

16 of these tracks can be recorded simultaneously giving you the ability to have a complete drum kit, three guitar parts, bass, keyboards, a few vocals and still have room for a three part horn section without stacking any instruments.

UNLIMITED MIDI TRACKS:

Midi tracks can be used to record any keyboard or drum machine line, in this capacity we are limitless.

VST TECHNOLOGY:

We utilize Cubase Virtual Studio Technology (VST) [A computer program that allows automation of all channels as well as professional quality effects called plug-ins.]

QUALITY PLUG-INS:

CWAV uses several high-end plug-ins (a software program to manipulate audio inside another program).

DIGITAL ARCHIVING:

Later on, after you’ve listened to the album for a couple of months you decide the vocal is too loud, digital archiving allows you to recapture the original instrument sounds without re-recording and do a remix.

TUBE PROCESSING:

The recording quality of digital is almost too clean for some musicians. A range of tube processing pre-amps and effects allow for a warming of the digital signal to analogue sound textures.

32-BIT MASTERING:

A quick illustration will show the benefits of high resolution mastering. Remember, the smoother the wave, the more realistic it sounds.
